June 6th Annual General Meeting: Elections, Social Knitting and Silent Auction

This is a reminder that our June meeting will be held on June 6th, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Our meeting location is the Hamilton Mennonite Church, located at 143 Lower Horning, Hamilton The driveway is on the left side and parking and meeting room are at the back.

Our June Annual General Meeting features a Silent Auction, Social Knitting and Elections of our Executive members.  Please consider this volunteer opportunity to work with a great group of fellow knitters and put your name forward for the positions of Secretary, Program Chair and Webmaster for next year's board.  For more information about these positions, please see pages 3 and 4 of the Terms of Reference.  

Members are encouraged to bring any stashed yarns, needles, accessories, pattern books, etc., that they would like to donate to the auction.  The proceeds will be donated to a charity selected by members.  

Here's a handy checklist of what to bring to the meeting:
  • Small bills/change for silent auction purchases
  • Stash items for the silent auction
  • Your current knitting project
  • Knitting projects that you would like to show and share
  • Money for 50-50 Draw tickets
  • Any donations that you have knit for "Knitted Knockers", "Twiddle Muffs", or the "Linus Project"
