Alpaca farm - May 26th

In addition to the Fleece and Fibrefest event on May 27th, some guild members will also be visiting an alpaca farm on Saturday, May 26th. The Alpaca farm visit offers two options for a tour -10am and 1pm - take your pick for a time slot. Guild guests are welcome. You might want to bring money/credit as there is a farm shop. Fleece and Fibrefest May 27

Hello Knitters!

I hope you were all able to enjoy the fabulous long weekend weather. A little knitting in the sun perhaps?

Well, next weekend you can again combine the art of knitting and the great outdoors at Silmaril Farm's Fleece and Fibrefest. There will be plenty of events including a shearing demonstration, animal displays, a spinning event as well as a marketplace to shop for some lovely alpaca or cashmere. The Fleece and Fibrefest is held Sunday, May 27 from 10am to 5pm at Silmaril Farm, 144 Russ Road in Grimsby.
