Knitting in the park

Although the Around the Bay Knitting Guild doesn’t meet in the summer time (the next meeting is in September), there are lots of opportunities to knit together socially.

One of our favourites is Knitting in the Park; every Tuesday evening (from June 16th through to September 1st). Some of us will bring a folding chair and sit and knit in Dundas Driving Park (specifically: under the trees, by the stone staircase which is across from the Tennis Court).  We usually begin to turn up around 6 pm, and go on until it is too dark to knit! Hope you can join us—just show up with a folding chair and your knitting and have fun.

The Hamilton Public Library website also lists several other craft and hobby groups (including knitting groups), which meet at their branches and in the community: http://www.hpl.ca/events/adults/games-%26-hobbies

Enjoy the summer!
