First Meeting of the New Year
A reminder of our Meeting on Tuesday, January 2nd at 7pm
at the Mennonite Church Hall (usual time, usual place).
By the time it comes along you'll be wanting to do some

We will be doing some Charity Knitting that evening,
for Linus blankets and Knitted Knockers
https://www.knittedknockers.org/make-a-knocker/,
(link for pattern) and, of course, bring your own knitting,
if you prefer.
Hope to see you all there.
A Whole New Knitting Year ahead of us. Hooray!!!

Christmas Guild Meeting
Ladies,
Come along and celebrate Christmas. We are having a Guild Meeting "with bells on"
Bring some finger food appetizers or desserts (I'm bringing dessert - yum). Don't forget serving utensils and forks and spoons if necessary. We already have the plates, napkins and cups for hot beverages. And of course bring your knitting.
It should be a fun night.
Hoping to see you all on Tuesday December 5th, same time, same place.

Bob Kemp Hospice
The Bob Kemp Hospice runs a bereavement camp every June in Bracebridge. It is called Camp Erin and 50 children, aged 6-17 attend. They have all suffered the loss of either a parent, sibling, grandparent, or someone else close to them. For more information please visit: https://kemphospice.org/camp-erin
Project Linus has been asked to supply the children with a cuddly blanket as something they could be comforted by. Because of our Guild's current relationship with Project Linus, we have been asked to be involved in this request. Your ongoing support of Project Linus is appreciated. Please continue to give your Project Linus blankets to Jo Ann at our regular meetings. Your donated blankets will be shared not only with Women's shelters, but also with the children of Camp Erin. Thank you!!
Camp Erin Hamilton is a free, weekend bereavement camp for children and teens ages 6 through 17 who are grieving the death of someone close to them.

Happy Fall
Hello Knitters,
A reminder of our Meeting on Tuesday 3rd October at 7pm at the Mennonite Church Hall on Lower Horning Road, Hamilton. This Tuesday night at 7pm, Jane Cudmore will show us all about her antique sock machine which she will bring. We can all get a good look at it, and find out how it works, with her guidance. Thank you Jane, for sharing your knowledge.
Quote from Jane,
"Jane Cudmore will bring her antique circular sock machine to the meeting. She will share information about sock machines and make a sock. If you would like to test out her sock machine and create a tube ready for "after thought" cuffs, heels and toes, bring 100g of sock yarn."
So come along and bring your regular knitting too of course and anything you want to show and tell.
Our Knit-a-Longs are all set for the next couple of months.
Sock Knit-a-Longs Thursday October 19th at Linda's
Thursday November 16th at Susan's
Sanquhar Glove Thursday October 26th at Fran's
Knit-a-Longs Thursday November 23rd at Cindy's
Come along and knit and chat and learn some new ideas.
